COULD IT BE

Could it be that you might love someone and want to spend so much time with another. Not necessary because you hate spending time with the person you love but because the other person is 'easy like Sunday morning'. Otherwise, it could be safe to say we all need that experience of the fleeting moment.

Some people are good for each other irrespective of the happenings of the present. The unfortunate happens a lot in real relationships. Fantasies are however fun; free from troubles, pain and hurt, it could be that is not necessarily true.

Could it be that love is so troublesome that you get to that intolerable stage. True love works things out. I work things out. No matter how many fleeting moments I have, I have only one person to spend the rest of my life with.

IT COULD BE THAT LOVE SO PURE AND TRUE BECOMES INTOLERABLE, IT COULD ALSO BE THAT SOMETIMES, WE NEED A FLEETING MOMENT TO REMIND US OF WHERE WE BELONG. MY FANTASIES ARE MY LIFE. THAT CAN TOTALLY BE.

ARGUING WITH MYSELF

To think that life is full of surprise is a cliche. Yes, I am all about the cliches, and today is no different. We try so hard to make ends meet, we get a job, give off our best and yet still, life is no different from what it was yesterday. Mostly, I believe we try too hard to make it work for us. Life has a way of dealing with us. It has its own way of making things work; that is the natural order. Life should work, it should be fun, full of happiness. That should be the natural order.

You wish! Often a times, life sucks, not because LIFE in general sucks, but because those around us, those who are suppose to have our backs -- family and friends -- are the foes we are running away from. Life should be fair, equity, that should be the basis of every human society. Laugh out loud, because it's never going to happen. The rich will continue being rich, and the poor remain in the gutter. Needless to say, the foolish ones in these groups will lose their positions, for the worst or best respectively.

I believe in LIFE, because it is God's gift to us. I suppose we all have varying opinions concerning life. But eventually, it all works for our good.

LIFE IS BITTER, LIFE IS SWEET, LIFE IS HARSH, LIFE IS COMFORTING, LIFE IS HARD, LIFE IS MANAGEABLE, LIFE IS AWESOME!
All these statements are a matter of opinion. In my best opinion, Life is what it is, it's everything and nothing combined. What is important is what you make of it.

LIFE IS ALL ABOUT LIVING. THAT IS THE WHOLE STORY.

FIGHTING WITH MY GIRLFRIEND

So I am here, talking with my girlfriend about a fight we picked . I still think it's her fault, on the other hand, she thinks I was cruel and vengeful. I will really like to think otherwise, but what's the point, what has happened has happened. It was hard, because for the first time, I lost control of myself and did not know what I was doing. I was confused and lost, maybe, I over exaggerated the whole thing. Maybe not. She is sitting by me reading this blog and laughing. She says she was smiling. To continue, I made her cry, something she hasn't done in a long time. I wish I could cry also, but I have not been able to do that in a very long time.

What I was by the way, I mean, my emotional state, was AFRAID. I was afraid for the first time in a long while that I was going to lose her because of my pride. I thought I understood why people commitment passion crimes. But now I know why. This s**** is never happening to me.

She thinks she is going to lose me, she doesn't know losing her will be THE BIGGEST lost on my part not hers. I love my girlfriend, but I AM SURE SHE DOESN'T KNOW IT YET.

TIME WILL TELL.

CURIOUS

I tried writing on this same topic a while back, rather unfortunate, but I lost my internet connection. So I am here again, trying to write on this same topic again.

Curiosity is defined by the Concise Oxford Dictionary (10 ed.) as a strong desire to know or learn something.
Whenever I think about curiosity, only one cliche jumps to mind, "Curiosity killed the cat" I have a thing for cliches, yes, I do. Let's get back to the argument, curiosity killed...
If this were true, then I am of the view that there is no need to search for the unknown. Nonetheless, I must admit that the thought of the unknown sends thrills through my spine.
If life was about the known, then I don't get the point in living; because nothing about the known is exciting anymore. When Humphry Davy first invented the lightbulb, it was the 'wow' thing of the century, even after Thomas Edison improved on it. Now nobody really cares about light-bulb anymore.
When Newton proposed his gravitational theory it was the 'it' theory in the world of science; most of us don't care about gravitation let alone how to calculate it anymore.

Life is about being curious. If this assertion is also true, then as citizens, we have the right to know what those who have charge over us, either by appointment or election, decide for us in relation to consumer satisfaction and organizational profit in general welfare to the government or the economy we find ourselves in.

Another school of thought will suggest that if the general citizenry knows about every little detail with regards to deals that our 'superiors' have agreed on in our stead, there will be chaos in the country. I beg to differ. Chaos will arise in such situations where the people discover the hidden selfish interests of these leaders. We hide things not because we are afraid people can't handle the truth; it's rather because we don't want them to realize how selfish we are and how this translates into the deals we sign behind closed doors.

Where lies the paradox in this situation? Human Beings according to our nature like to find things out; some 'smart' people on the other hand like to make some of these discoveries exclusive. Some like to know, others are afraid to know, but there is always the strong desire to know. That is where the paradox lies!

WHY WE ARE NOT CHANGING

Many times when you tune your radio to a station to listen in to programs, or even talk to people in your own communities you will discover one common trend, the world has a lot of complains about how bad things are. The paradox in all these issues is this, the very people who cry foul are the very people committing them. So much talk about how things are not going well --bad pension schemes, bad roads, bad presidents, bad parliamentarians, bad economy, horrible health delivery system, etc-- and yet none of the people making noise about the problems are doing anything to change it. In all these, we have failed to talk about the role we are to play ourselves in changing these 'bad' stuff ' into 'good' stuff.

I am that kind of guy who does not believe in the vagueness of cliches because time and time again, they have proven to be true. In this instance, 'empty barrels make the loudest noise!'

If the road in your community is bad, do not go and sit on radio and insult your elected honorable, or ask members of your community to put on red armbands and hit the streets, rather, organize the mob for these demonstrations for clean up exercises, maintenance works and all the positive things you can think about. Let us see if the 'bad' will not turn to good when we do these little things.

THE REASON WHY WE ARE NOT CHANGING IS VERY SIMPLE, MOST PEOPLE ON PLANET EARTH ARE HYPOCRITES! FOR THIS REASON WE WILL CONTINUE SUFFERING UNDERDEVELOPMENT, ESPECIALLY, THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES LIKE MINE.

WHY WE ARE NOT CHANGING

Many times when you tune your radio to listen in to programs
